Former ‘SNL’ Star Victoria Jackson Reveals Inoperable Tumor in Cancer Update

Former “Saturday Night Live” cast member Victoria Jackson took to social media this week to share that she has an inoperable tumor in her windpipe.

“I have 34.8 months to live if I don’t get hit by a meteor, shot by a MAGA hater, get Covid again or WWIII breaks out,” wrote the comedian and actor—who appeared on the NBC comedy sketch show in the late 1980s and early 1990s—in a caption to a clip on her Instagram.

Jackson revealed that doctors can’t operate and cut out what she described as a “marble” in her chest that’s laying on her windpipe, which would eventually “suffocate” her to death.

She added that doctors are giving her a “magic pill” containing Ribociclib, a kind of cancer growth blocker, that she hopes will shrink the marble.

She said she looked up the pill, which she did not name, on Google before finding out that those who use it have under three years to live.

“I’ve had a fantastic life,” said the 65-year-old in the video.

Jackson’s health update comes after she previously revealed her breast cancer diagnosis in 2016.

Outside of “SNL,” Jackson’s credits include films such as “Casual Sex?” and “UHF.” She’s also acted in a number of TV shows including Comedy Central’s “Strip Mall” as well as Nickelodeon’s “Romeo!”

Jackson has faced backlash for her controversial remarks over the years including calling former President Barack Obama an “Islamic jihadist” in 2015 and criticizing “Glee” in 2011 for a scene where two gay characters kiss.

She told the Minnesota Star Tribune back in 2022 that it was difficult to find roles in Hollywood at the time.

“I was blacklisted,” Jackson said.

Jackson, who has two daughters and is married to former police officer Paul Wessel, said she’d like to see her grandson Jimmy be born in October and would also like for her daughter Aubrey to have a baby.
