Frasier Season 2 Trailer Teases Kelsey Grammer’s Radio Return on Paramount+

A new Frasier Season 2 trailer has just been released, giving fans a sneak peek into the return of the beloved sitcom starring Kelsey Grammer.

The second season of the Frasier revival is scheduled to premiere on September 19, 2024, with two episodes dropping on Paramount+. After the premiere, new episodes will be released weekly, also on Paramount+.

Besides Kelsey Grammer reprising his role as Frasier, the series also stars Jack Cutmore-Scott as Freddy, Nicholas Lyndhurst as Alan, Toks Olagundoye as Olivia, Jess Salgueiro as Eve, and Anders Keith as David. Additional cast members include Dan Butler as Bob “Bulldog” Briscoe, Edward Hibbert as Gil Chesterton, Harriet Sansom Harris as Bebe Glazer, Peri Gilpin as Roz Doyle, and Greer Grammer as Alice. Notable guest stars such as Rachel Bloom, Yvette Nicole Brown, Patricia Heaton, and Amy Sedaris will also be making appearances.

The trailer for Season 2 shows Frasier’s much-anticipated return to the airwaves. The footage features the iconic character back in his booth at KACL, the radio station where he worked in the original series. This teaser provides a glimpse of what’s in store for Frasier as he navigates new challenges and relationships in Boston, while possibly revisiting some old dreams.

The official series synopsis reads: “Same Frasier. New skyline. The new series follows Dr. Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer) in the next chapter of his life as he returns to Boston with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge, and an old dream or two to finally fulfill.”

Frasier is penned by Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli, who also serve as executive producers alongside Grammer, Tom Russo, and Jordan McMahon. Renowned director James Burrows will direct two episodes of the new season. The series is produced by CBS Studios in collaboration with Grammer’s production company, Grammnet NH Productions.

The first season of the Frasier revival received significant acclaim, earning three Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Production Design For A Narrative Program (Half-Hour), Outstanding Cinematography For A Multi-Camera Series (Half-Hour), and Outstanding Picture Editing For A Multi-Camera Comedy Series.
