Sharon Osbourne and her husband, Ozzy, are grieving after the loss of their beloved dog, Rocky, who was by Ozzy’s side for 15 years.

“We lost an OG and Ozzy’s partner in crime ~ Rest Easy Rocky,” Sharon wrote on Instagram, sharing a reel that showcased Rocky’s memorable moments. “Two days ago I lost my good friend Rocky who has been at my side for 15 years. I’ll see you on the other side my friend. I love you always,” Ozzy expressed on his own Instagram, alongside a photo of him and Rocky taken by paparazzi.

Well-wishers, including Carrie Ann Inaba and Amanda Kloots, extended their heartfelt condolences. “I’m so sorry Sharon. Please extend my love to Ozzy… may he rest in peace…. and you will see him again one day at the rainbow bridge,” wrote Inaba. “Oh Mrs O … I’m so sorry. Sending you lots of love,” added Kloots.

Ozzy and Sharon’s daughter, Kelly, also posted on her Instagram Story, adding, “Rocky was my dad’s sidekick for 15 years. I don’t know what it will be like to go home and not see him there. Rest in peace, sweet prince.”

The couple are avid dog lovers and have been dog parents to nine dogs, mostly Pomeranians, as they revealed in 2020. However, their passion for animals has also posed challenges. They have been delaying their plans to move back to England to ensure their dogs can travel safely with them.

Ozzy hasn’t been in the best health either, which has been another obstacle. The 75-year-old rock legend admitted on a recent podcast that while they’re both eager to take a flight back to England, his recurring medical problems keep getting in the way. “It just seems that every time we’re set to go, something happens with Ozzy’s health,” Sharon mentioned in July.

“We’ll get there,” Sharon added, remaining optimistic. “We wanna go back so bad, but we’ll get there. Won’t we, Ozzy?” “Yeah,” he affirmed, “we will.”

Ozzy’s health issues have been significant. Diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2003, he experienced a serious fall in 2019 that dislodged metal rods inserted in his spine following a 2003 quad bike accident. Over the last five years, he has undergone seven surgeries, and in 2023, he had to cancel his tour. He told fans that despite his singing voice being fine, his body remains physically weak after multiple operations, stem cell treatments, and extensive physical therapy.

“My one and only purpose during this time has been to get back on stage,” said Ozzy. “However, after three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physical therapy sessions, and most recently groundbreaking Cybernics (HAL) treatment, my body is still physically weak,” he shared.

After spending decades in Los Angeles, Ozzy revealed in an interview that he doesn’t want to die in America but wishes to return to his home country. “Everything’s [expletive] ridiculous there,” he told The Observer in 2022. “I’m fed up with people getting killed every day. God knows how many people have been shot in school shootings. And there was that mass shooting in Vegas at that concert… It’s [expletive] crazy.”

“I don’t want to die in America,” Ozzy emphasized. “I’m English. I want to be back. … It’s just time for me to come home.”
