Fyre Fest Water Guy, ‘Big Brother’ Winner in ‘The Anonymous’ Preview

If Fyre Festival producer Andy King was “fully prepared” to perform oral sex in exchange for not paying customs $175,000 for water bottles during the doomed event, just imagine what he’ll do to win $100,000 on The Anonymous.

The breakout star from Netflix’s documentary about the disastrous music festival is among the cast of 12 on USA Network’s new social competition series that’s like The Traitors meets The Circle.

From the makers of those two reality shows and Squid Game: The Challenge comes The Anonymous, a unique blend of in-person and virtual gameplay that requires deception to win the ultimate prize. Entertainment Weekly has an exclusive sneak peek of Andy and the rest of the cast learning exactly what they’re in for.

Along with Andy, the cast also includes two other familiar faces among mostly civilians: Big Brother 23 winner and The Challenge: USA alum Xavier E. Prather, and Australian Survivor alum (and daughter of two-time U.S. Survivor winner Sandra Diaz-Twine) Nina Twine.

As the exclusive clip below reveals, the players will be pit against one another to manipulate, mislead, and do whatever it takes to be popular among their opponents in the real world while secretly betraying and backstabbing them in “anonymous mode,” which is played in the Digital Anonymous Networking Interface, a.k.a. DANI.

DANI introduces itself to the players in the footage and announces that each player will have their own private underground hideout where they are completely anonymous and can say anything they want about their opponents behind the mask of a unique handle. The question is: Can they stay anonymous while doing so, or will the other players guess their identity?

Every episode, DANI conducts tests where all contestants must try and match players to their handles, and the player who is best at staying anonymous earns the power to eliminate their competitors. In the end, only one player will take home the grand prize.
