Gabrielle Union’s Photo of Kaavia Proves She’s a Sassy Princess in Every Way

The Union-Wade family is living their best life on their French getaway, and Gabrielle Union showed fans that she and Dwyane Wade’s daughter Kaavia is a sass queen, no matter where she is.

On Aug 24, Union shared a series of photos to her Instagram story, showing how they’re having fun in the sun. She posted the photos, which were obtained by People, showing Kaavia posing at the Île Sainte-Marguerite in Cannes.

However, this isn’t just a regular snapshot because the caption reveals a hilarious twist. Union captioned the snapshot, saying, “Them: Be casual. Kaav:,” showing Kaavia striking that iconic pose with her hand on her hips and a radiant smile. Kaavia could also be seen embracing the Barbiecore trend with a hot pink and yellow leopard swimsuit paired with matching hot pink slides.

It’s clear that Kaavia loves to display her sassy and silly side whenever she can, and fans absolutely adore seeing it every time!

For those not familiar, the You Got Anything Stronger? author and Wade welcomed their daughter Kaavia, 5, via a surrogate back in Nov. 2018.

Union is also the stepmom to Wade’s three other children: Zaire, 22, Zaya, 17, and Xavier, 10. Additionally, Wade is the legal guardian of his nephew, Dahveon Morris, 22.

In a previous interview with SheKnows, the Bring It On star shared her thoughts on the joy of creating Shady Baby, a children’s book inspired by their daughter Kaavia.

“It’s been amazing. Inspired by our daughter, Kaavia, we wanted to create a children’s book that not only had a little Black girl as the main character but to also give the word ‘shady’ a more positive association, using it as her superpower, moral compass, and inner strength,” she said. “As a family, we also understand the platform that we have and the importance of doing right for our community. That’s why we get involved in various initiatives to help give back to our community, whether it’s LGBTQ+ rights, advocating for diversity and inclusion in the workplace, or our Don’t Skip public health campaign.”
