Gillian Turner Confirms Breaking News

Gillian Turner is expecting! The Fox News personality made the announcement live on-air during The Five chat show on Wednesday, Aug. 7. Turner joyfully shared that she is pregnant with her second child, a baby boy, with her husband Alex Turner. This new addition will join their 3-year-old daughter, Coco Rose Kramer.

During the broadcast, Turner revealed that her baby boy is due this December. She echoed the exciting news on social media shortly after the announcement, posting on X (formerly known as Twitter), “It’s true!! Baby boy coming December 2024.”

The news sparked an outpouring of congratulations from Turner’s colleagues. Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe wrote, “Congratulations, my friend!!! I am so happy for you guys!!!” Remy Numa, Fox News’ lead political affairs specialist, added, “Congrats, Gillian! Thrilled for you.” Meghan McCain also chimed in, saying, “Awwww congratulations!!!!!”

This forthcoming baby boy will be the second child for Turner and her entrepreneurial husband. The couple welcomed their daughter Coco Rose Kramer on July 17, 2021. At the time, Turner announced Coco’s birth, stating, “Baby Coco made her debut 7.17.21 & we’ve never been happier in our entire lives! 6lbs & 13oz of love. Her full name is Lucia Rose Kramer.” During an interview with Fox News’ Dana Perino, Turner shared that “the most adventurous thing” she’s ever done was “getting married to my husband and creating our family.”

Turner has been a part of Fox News since 2014, initially joining as a contributor before being promoted to correspondent in 2018. Over the years, she has reported on significant stories such as the indictment of former President Donald Trump and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. In 2023, she was further promoted to anchor and state department and foreign policy correspondent. Turner has also served as a substitute anchor on various Fox News programs including Fox News Sunday, Special Report, America’s Newsroom, and America Reports.

Before her tenure at Fox News, Turner earned a Master’s degree in African security studies from the University of Cape Town in South Africa and graduated cum laude from Columbia University with a B.A. in comparative politics. She also held the position of vice president at Jones Group International and worked alongside former National Security Adviser Jim Jones. Moreover, her experience includes roles at the White House National Security Council during the administrations of George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
