Gossip Girl Star Ed Westwick Marries Amy Jackson in a Lavish 3-Day Italian Wedding

Ed Westwick has announced that he and Amy Jackson celebrated a second wedding ceremony in Italy, following their initial civil ceremony on 9 August in London.

The Gossip Girl actor shared photos on Instagram from their Italian wedding, which took place on 24 August. The couple celebrated their special day with a three-day wedding weekend on the picturesque Amalfi Coast. Jackson mentioned that the region’s “timeless romance and vintage charm” made it the perfect location for their celebration, as reported by People magazine.

Several notable guests attended the wedding, including former Gossip Girl co-star Kelly Rutherford, model and actress Daisy Lowe, comedian and actor Jack Whitehall along with his partner Roxy Horner, film producer Mohammed Al Turki, and cosmetics mogul Dr. Barbara Sturm.

For the occasion, Jackson donned a custom gown by Italian designer Alberta Ferretti and switched to an outfit by Pronovias Atelier for the reception. Westwick complemented her stunning look in an Armani suit.

“Great food and drink was a biggie for us – we wanted our guests to leave full and happy,” Westwick shared. The menu featured seasonal produce from the Amalfi Coast, providing a unique dining experience typical of the region.

In addition to the exquisite food, pastry chef Damiano Carrara crafted chocolates to honor Westwick’s late mother and father, Carole and Peter. These strawberry and meringue-inspired chocolates, engraved with his parents’ names, were distributed as wedding favors to the guests. “I know they’re up there looking down on us and I wanted to have them involved in some way,” Westwick expressed.

The couple’s journey began in 2021, when they met during a race day event with Aston Martin at Silverstone racetrack. “I was there with a friend who knew her,” Westwick recounted in an interview with Hello! magazine in October 2023. “I saw her and thought, I’m going to make my move! We chatted for a bit and I asked her if she wanted to meet me for a coffee.” The day became memorable for Westwick, who mentioned that Jackson outperformed him on the racetrack, stating, “Her lap time was a lot better than mine! She’s been making my heart race from day one!”

The couple got engaged earlier this year in January, revealing their engagement in a joint Instagram post. The photo showed Westwick on one knee, holding a ring while Jackson stood in front of him with her hand covering her mouth, during a winter trip in Gstaad, Switzerland. Jackson confirmed the engagement in the caption, writing, “Hell YES,” accompanied by a ring emoji.
