Graham Tells Hamas Leader: “We’re Going to Kill You”

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) pledged to eliminate Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, who was pivotal in orchestrating the attack on Israel on October 7, should former President Trump return to the presidency.

In a recent interview on Fox News’s “Hannity,” Graham voiced his discontent with the Biden administration’s strategy toward Iran and its surrogates in the Middle East. He implied that a second Trump administration would adopt a more aggressive stance in the region.

“When Donald Trump is back in office, these hostages will return home because he will make it clear to the Ayatollah that they will be held accountable for the safety of these individuals,” Graham stated, suggesting that consequences would follow if hostages were not released, although he provided no evidence for his claims.

He criticized President Biden for allegedly allowing Iran to operate with impunity, asserting that the administration has financially supported them and portrayed Biden as weak. “In their eyes, he’s feeble. The only person weaker than him is Vice President Kamala Harris,” Graham remarked. He expressed solidarity with Israel, stating that “God bless our friends in Israel. God help our friends in Israel. Donald Trump is coming.”

On the same day, Attorney General Merrick Garland announced an indictment against Sinwar and other militants for their involvement in the October 7 attacks in southern Israel, which resulted in over 1,100 fatalities, including at least 40 Americans. The assault also led to around 250 individuals, a number of whom were American citizens, being taken hostage in Gaza by Hamas, which the U.S. designates as a terrorist organization.

Garland commented on the magnitude of the attack, stating, “In the early morning hours of October 7 last year, Hamas, led by these defendants, committed its most violent, large-scale terrorist act to date. They perpetrated the deadliest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.”

He emphasized that the newly unsealed charges are “only part” of the Justice Department’s broader initiatives aimed at dismantling Hamas’s operations. “These actions will not be our last. The Justice Department has a long memory,” he asserted. “We will pursue the terrorists who murdered Americans and those who unlawfully support them for their entire lives.”

However, Graham dismissed the significance of the indictment during his interview, asserting that such legal actions would not intimidate Hamas members. He lamented the loss of deterrence under the current administration, claiming, “No one is afraid of Joe Biden or Kamala Harris.”

Graham challenged the effectiveness of Biden’s approach, questioning, “What is Biden doing? Charging Sinwar with crimes in an American court,” he said. “This isn’t about legal charges; this is war. Sinwar simply doesn’t care about being indicted by Garland.”

He concluded with a stark warning, stating, “Sinwar, your days are numbered, pal. We’re not going to indict you. We’re going to kill you.”
