Gwen Stefani Cancels Concert After Mysterious Injury: ‘I’m So Sorry’

Gwen Stefani took to social media on Saturday to apologize to her fans for canceling her August 17 show at Hard Rock Live in Atlantic City due to an injury.

“As a result of a recent injury and in consultation with my doctors, I’ve been advised that I’m not able to perform on August 17 at Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena in Atlantic City,” Stefani wrote in a heartfelt message on her Instagram Stories.

She added, “I’m so sorry,” and assured fans that her team is working on rescheduling the show.

The singer also mentioned that Ticketmaster would send out emails to ticket holders once a new date is set.

The extent of the injury remains unclear, and it is unknown if it will impact any of her future performances. Stefani had recently reunited with her No Doubt bandmates at the Coachella Valley Music Festival in April and is scheduled to appear at two festivals in September: the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas on September 20 and the South Star Music Festival in Huntsville, Alabama, on September 28.

Stefani expressed her regret on Instagram Stories, saying, “I’m so sorry,” while informing followers that the performance will be rescheduled. She also assured fans that current tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date.

Besides her own career, Stefani’s musical talent seems to have been passed down to her children. Her sons Zuma, 15, and Kingston, 18, whom she shares with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, are also showing an interest in music.

Zuma recently made his country music debut at his stepfather Blake Shelton’s Ole Red bar in Oklahoma. According to fan videos from the event, the 15-year-old performed Zach Bryan’s “Oklahoma Smokeshow.”

Kingston, who celebrated his 18th birthday in May, also performed at the bar in August 2023.

The “Sweet Escape” singer is also the mother of 10-year-old Apollo, her youngest son with Rossdale.

As Stefani recovers from her injury, fans eagerly await updates on her rescheduled shows and hope for her swift recovery.
