Hailey and Justin Bieber Celebrate Birth of Their First Child

Hailey and Justin Bieber have officially entered parenthood! The 27-year-old model and Rhode founder, along with her 30-year-old musician husband, shared the joyful news on Friday, announcing the arrival of their first child together.

Justin took to Instagram to reveal the newborn’s arrival, posting an image of the baby’s foot and sharing the name in his caption. He wrote, “WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER,” complete with a bear emoji.

The couple first shared the exciting news of their pregnancy in a joint Instagram post on May 9. The post, which included sweet photos and a video, showed moments from a vow renewal ceremony in Hawaii and featured Hailey’s visible baby bump. The couple originally married in a New York City courthouse in September 2018 after rekindling their on-and-off romance. Shortly after the Instagram post, a representative for Hailey confirmed to PEOPLE that she was just over six months pregnant. A source later told Entertainment Tonight that Hailey and Justin were “thrilled to be expecting a baby together” and had been eagerly anticipating this new chapter in their lives.

Throughout her pregnancy, Hailey kept her followers updated, frequently sharing “baby bumpdates” and her thoughts on entering motherhood. On May 15, she candidly spoke about her pregnancy cravings on Instagram, humorously revealing that she particularly loved “egg salad on top of a pickle with hot sauce,” and jokingly reminded everyone, “and no you’re not allowed to judge!” In another post on July 10, Hailey shared a carousel of photos documenting her “summer so far,” proudly displaying her growing belly.

The pregnancy announcement came amidst swirling rumors of marital troubles and potential divorce. However, a source told Us Weekly that the Biebers’ “bond is stronger than ever.” Another source mentioned to ET that the couple was “trying to keep everything sacred during this special time.” As they prepared for their baby’s arrival, they focused on spending quality time with family and friends, attending church, and staying within their close-knit circles. The source also highlighted Justin’s attentiveness, noting, “He’s at her beck and call and the sky is the limit. Whatever she needs, he’s sure to get.”
