Sashay, you sleigh.

Hallmark is diving into the reality competition scene with its first unscripted series, “Finding Mr. Christmas,” TVLine has revealed.

Jonathan Bennett, known for “Awkward,” will host the show, while Melissa Peterman from “Reba” and “Young Sheldon” will serve as the main judge. According to the official summary, 10 aspiring actors will participate in various entertaining and festive challenges, all with a signature Hallmark twist, as they vie for the title of “Mr. Christmas.”

The top performer will win a leading role in an upcoming “Countdown to Christmas” movie. This film is expected to go into production this summer and to premiere in 2024, as reported by EW.com.

The series will initially premiere on Hallmark’s revamped streaming service, Hallmark+, before airing on the channel itself.

Contestants won’t need to worry about filming anything too risqué, as Hallmark has explicitly stated it will not include more mature romance scenes, unlike Lifetime’s “A Christmas Cowboy Romance” during the 2023 holiday season.

“In a Christmas movie? No,” said Lisa Hamilton Daly, Hallmark Media’s executive vice president of programming, in February. “We consider our content to be very living-room friendly. Your kids can walk in, and you won’t feel the need to turn it off.”

Also reported by EW, Ben Roy, known for “Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas,” will serve as executive producer for the series.

In addition to “Finding Mr. Christmas,” Hallmark will introduce another new series, “Ready, Set, Glow!,” this year. Wes Brown, star of “A Biltmore Christmas” and “Haul Out the Holly,” will travel across the United States to feature individuals who create extraordinary festive light displays.

These new initiatives join the previously announced “Celebrations With Lacey Chabert,” where the “Party of Five” alum and holiday movie favorite, along with a team of helpers, plan epic surprise parties to honor deserving children, families, and adults who make an extraordinary impact.

God bless us, every one!
