Hallmark’s Streaming Makeover: More Holiday Hunks, Worth the Price

Wes Brown is set to bring some festive joy to Hallmark+ with his upcoming reality show, “Ready, Set, Glow.” In this program, Brown will journey across the nation to highlight some of the most unique Christmas decorations and share the stories behind them. While Brown is on this holiday adventure, Hallmark favorite Luke Macfarlane will venture into home makeovers with his show, “Home is Where the Heart Is,” taking inspiration from HGTV’s popular renovation formats. Of course, Hallmark+’s offerings wouldn’t be complete without a plethora of feel-good fictional movies to enjoy during the holiday season.

If the “Wedding Veil” series left you wanting more, there’s good news. Hallmark+ is introducing its male counterpart with “The Groomsmen” trilogy. This series features three of Hallmark’s beloved actors—Jonathan Bennett, Tyler Hynes, and B.J. Britt—who will portray a trio of friends with differing personalities. Adding to the festive lineup, Hallmark favorites such as Erin Cahill, Dennis Haysbert, and Holland Roden will appear in a limited series titled “Holidazed.”

Furthermore, the small-screen adaptation of the popular book “The Chicken Sisters” is generating buzz with the inclusion of Margo Martindale as the narrator. Hallmark is clearly enthused about their new slate of content. In a statement shared by Variety, Hallmark CEO and President Mike Perry expressed his excitement, saying, “Hallmark+ marks a seminal moment for Hallmark.” He added, “By intertwining new, rich content experiences with tangible rewards and premium Hallmark gifts, we are delivering a unique, new program that reflects our commitment to spreading joy through our deeply beloved brand touchpoints.” It’s clear that many are eagerly anticipating the significant changes coming to Hallmark Channels in 2024.
