Halsey and Avan Jogia Spark Engagement Rumors

Halsey and her boyfriend Avan Jogia have set off a wave of engagement rumors.

According to the celebrity gossip Instagram account Deux Moi, the singer and the Victorious actor were spotted having a picnic together in New York City. During this outing, Halsey was seen wearing what appeared to be a ring on her ring finger.

The ring, featuring a gold band and a green-colored stone surrounded by smaller diamonds, was quite visible in the photo. However, neither Halsey nor Jogia have publicly addressed the engagement rumors.

The couple confirmed their relationship back in September 2023 after months of speculation. At that time, Halsey—whose real name is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane—and the Canadian actor were photographed in Los Angeles. Jogia was seen with his arm around her as they watched a live performance at the Cara Hotel in Los Feliz.

Before dating Jogia, Halsey ended her relationship with boyfriend of two years, Alev Aydin, in early 2023. They share a three-year-old son, Ender Ridley. Halsey filed for full physical custody of Ender in April 2023, according to court documents obtained by Page Six. The documents reportedly show that Halsey requested joint legal custody as well as joint expenses and visitation rights.

A source told the outlet that Halsey “had to file that way” to take their son on tour with her. While neither Aydin nor Halsey addressed their breakup on social media, the source characterized their split as “totally amicable,” noting, “They are co-parenting, they are going to raise their son together.”

In a birthday tribute posted to Instagram on July 14, Halsey expressed her love for her son. “Happy Birthday Ender! You’re 3!” the caption read, accompanied by various photos and videos of the toddler. “The brightest, funniest, most empathetic, creative, and kind soul. I love everything about you. Everyday I am reminded how lucky I am to be your mommy. Every year since you were born is the new best year of my life.”

Jogia even commented under the tribute with two heart emojis.

Last month, the “Bad At Love” singer shared a health update along with the announcement of her fifth studio album. “Long story short, I’m lucky to be alive. Short story long, I wrote an album,” she wrote in a June 4 Instagram post that included a montage of photos and videos from her hospital stay. “It begins with The End. Out now.”
