Happy birthday, Prince George!

Prince William and Princess Kate celebrated their eldest child’s 11th birthday on Monday by sharing a new photo of him. The black-and-white picture, taken by Kate herself, shows Prince George smiling while wearing a blazer and a white shirt without a tie.

The Instagram caption read, “Wishing Prince George a very happy 11th birthday today!”

Born on July 22, 2013, Prince George is next in line for the throne after his father, William.

Last year, for his 10th birthday, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a photo of George sitting on a stone staircase, smiling in a blue and white checkered shirt with teal pants. George has two younger siblings, 9-year-old Princess Charlotte and 6-year-old Prince Louis.

On Father’s Day last month, Princess Kate shared a beach photo of William with their three kids. The caption read, “We love you, Papa. Happy Father’s Day 💕 G, C & L.”

Recently, Prince George and Prince William attended the UEFA European Championship final in Berlin on July 14. In June, William took his kids to a Taylor Swift concert, where the pop star shared a selfie featuring William, George, and Charlotte.

Earlier this year, Princess Kate stepped out of the public eye and revealed in March that she had been diagnosed with cancer. In a video announcing her diagnosis, Kate mentioned the difficulty of explaining her condition to George, Charlotte, and Louis in a way that reassured them she would be OK.

Princess Kate made a public return at Trooping the Colour in June, a celebration of King Charles’ birthday. Last week, she attended the men’s singles final at Wimbledon for her second public appearance since announcing her cancer diagnosis. She was accompanied by Princess Charlotte, who smiled as her mother received a standing ovation.
