Harry Potter Movie Marathon Heading to Minnesota and Wisconsin

Fans of the Harry Potter series of movies can look forward to seeing all the films again, or for the first time, on the big screen this October.

The release is in celebration of a milestone anniversary for one of the beloved films and a chance for fans who have never watched the films in theaters to experience the magic of Harry Potter at the cinema.

Marcus Theatres will host the Harry Potter movie marathon, featuring all 8 films. The event kicks off with ‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone’ on September 15th and 16th. Each subsequent film will be shown on successive weeks.

‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets’ will be screened on September 22nd and 23rd, followed by ‘Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban’ on September 29th and 30th, in honor of its 20th anniversary. ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’ will light up the big screen on October 6th and 7th.

Next, ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix’ will be shown on October 13th and 14th. ‘Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince’ celebrates its 15th anniversary on October 20th and 21st. The series will culminate with the two-part ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’. Part one will show on October 27th and 28th, and part two will be featured on November 3rd, 4th, and 5th.

Currently, tickets for each showing must be purchased individually. There does not appear to be a “passport” option for this marathon. Ticket prices vary by location, averaging around $6 per movie. For details and purchasing options, visit Marcus Theatres’ “event cinema” page on their website.
