Haliey Welch, known as Hawk Tuah Girl, has seen a meteoric rise on social media. In less than two months, she has attracted over 2.3 million followers on Instagram, captivating audiences with her unique content, especially her viral “spit on that thing” phrase.

When recently interviewed by TMZ about her newfound fame, Welch revealed that rapper Yung Gravy had reached out to her. “He wants to take me on a date, and I was like, nah, I don’t know about that,” she commented, accompanied by a dismissive gesture.

A video capturing this moment, seemingly recorded the same day Hawk Tuah Girl threw the first pitch at a New York Mets game, has been making rounds and causing quite a stir. You can watch it here.

Yung Gravy has a history of shooting his shot. After Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello announced their split, the “Betty (Get Money)” rapper was quite vocal, tweeting “LETS F*CKIN GOOOOO” and sharing a headline about the breakup on his Instagram Story with multiple saluting emojis. Vergara, however, has not responded to his overtures.

It appears that Welch, much like Vergara, is not interested in pursuing anything with Yung Gravy.
