Hayley Williams opened Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” today at Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam.
The “Ain’t It Fun” singer donned a pair of on-trend blue and cream Puma boxing-inspired boots. The sporty style featured blue and cream leather and suede uppers, zipper closures on the back, lace-up detailing in matching blue, Puma logo details in gold on the tongues and sides of the shoes, and almond-shaped toes.
Boxing shoes have gradually gained popularity in recent years. The style aligns with the athleisure trend that has dominated fashion and footwear. While traditionally reserved for the boxing ring, this silhouette often features leather construction and lace-up closures.
Brands like Beshka, Jaded London, Adidas, and Marine Serre have reimagined this athletic style, integrating modern design choices that reflect their unique aesthetics. Fashion enthusiasts now pair boxing boots with a variety of casual outfits, including skirts and shorts.
In keeping with her love for grunge fashion, the “Still Into You” singer wore a blue mini skirt layered over blue sheer tights, echoing the hues of her footwear. She completed the ensemble with a yellow t-shirt featuring a heart graphic and a selection of silver jewelry.
Swift’s concert at Paris La Défense Arena marks the start of the international leg of the Eras Tour, which kicked off last year and is set to run until December 2024. The tour includes 152 shows spread over five continents. Swift took a short break from the tour to release her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department.” Paramore is scheduled to open for 51 dates during the European leg of the tour.
