Henry Winkler Confronts Man Who Tried to Bodycheck Him at the Post Office

Footage of Henry Winkler getting involved in a brawl while trying to leave a post office has made waves on social media. The iconic actor found himself in a struggle with a peculiar shopper dressed in black. Thankfully, the skirmish was recorded by onlookers outside, who also warned the assailant.

The attacker threatened to call the police and refused to let Winkler leave, all while yelling at him. The aggressive individual then turned his attention to those recording the incident, demanding they stop filming. Minutes later, the bizarre aggressor abruptly released Winkler and left the scene.

Once the clip was uploaded to TikTok with the caption, “The Fonz gets shoulder-checked at the United States Post Office in Los Angeles, CA,” it quickly went viral, garnering nearly 4,000 comments reacting to the 57 seconds of chaos. “Nobody touches the FONZ,” one user commented with an angry face emoji.

Another user speculated that the man in black might not be a resident of America and therefore did not recognize Winkler. “I didn’t see a shoulder check,” a TikTok user explained. “I saw the Fonz touching the man and letting him know he was behind him, and the man turned around because he didn’t know who it was. Honest mistake.”

Known for his roles that have given him the reputation of Hollywood’s nice guy, Winkler himself doesn’t fully subscribe to that label. He described himself as more of a joyful person who enjoys life and people often mistake his grateful demeanor for niceness.
