HGTV’s Christina Hall’s Husband Josh Didn’t Request Divorce

HGTV star Christina Hall’s estranged husband Josh Hall has opened up about their imminent divorce.

“I prefer to keep things private, especially during significant life changes such as a divorce I did not initiate,” Josh expressed in an Instagram post.

“I won’t disparage anyone publicly as people have families, friends, and others who hold them in high esteem. Sadly, the internet is forever,” he added.

“We are real humans; this is our life, and I am not here to entertain strangers with my personal affairs. These matters will be settled fairly in private with our respective legal teams in due course. Those who know each of us understand who we are,” he concluded.

Josh’s post had its comments section turned off.

Josh starred alongside Christina on HGTV’s Flip or Flop and Christina on the Coast.

The couple filed for divorce last month, citing irreconcilable differences after three years of marriage.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Christina accused Josh of taking money from her account in her filing.

The outlet also reported that the couple was planning a new “spicy” reality TV show on HGTV announced in May, titled The Flip Off.

The show was set to feature the couple competing against Christina’s ex-husband Tarek El Moussa and his wife Heather Rae El Moussa from Selling Sunset in a home-flipping contest.

However, it remains uncertain how their divorce will impact the series, which is scheduled to premiere in early 2025.

Christina and Josh were married privately in 2021 before hosting a public wedding ceremony in Hawaii in 2022.

Christina was previously married to fellow Flip or Flop co-star Tarek El Moussa, with whom she shares two children.

She later married another HGTV star, Ant Anstead, with whom she shares one child. EW reports that Anstead is now dating Hollywood actress Renée Zellweger.
