Hollywood Publicist, Producer & Actor Dies at 37

Maxie Solters, a multi-talented writer, producer, actor, and third-generation Hollywood publicist, has passed away at the age of 37.

She died unexpectedly on Thursday at the Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank. The cause of her death has not yet been disclosed.

Maxie joined Scoop Marketing in 2012, following in the footsteps of her father Larry Solters and her late grandfather Lee Solters. During her time at the firm, she collaborated with high-profile clients such as The KIA Forum, the Hollywood Bowl, and Music Forward.

The company expressed their grief in a statement: “A vibrant and invaluable member of the Scoop Marketing team, Maxie brought a unique blend of creativity, passion, and expertise to her work. Her infectious enthusiasm, positivity, innovative ideas, and unwavering dedication made her an inspiration to all who knew her.”

Born on March 22, 1987, in Sherman Oaks, Maxie pursued theatre studies at the University of Southern California before venturing into film and television casting.

Since 2006, Maxie accumulated several credits as a writer, producer, and actress. She created and starred in the 2017 web series CLIMAX! and was a voting member of the Screen Actors Guild.

Driven by her passion for women’s rights, Maxie coordinated for One Billion Rising and was involved with V-Day International. Her advocacy work was celebrated by Scoop as “a testament to her compassion and desire to create a better future. Her unwavering optimism and kind heart touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting legacy of love and kindness.”

Maxie is survived by her longtime partner Dim Dobrin and their dog Pookie, her father Larry and his partner Carol Greenhut, her mother Debra Graff, her Aunt Susan Reynolds, and her Cousin Jonah Reynolds.
