Honoring Jimmy Buffett: His Final Florida Concerts in 2023 Before his Death

The Florida Legislature has honored the beloved trop-rock artist Jimmy Buffett by declaring Friday, Aug. 30, as Jimmy Buffett Day. Celebrations are taking place all over Florida, featuring concerts and other events to cherish the musician known for timeless hits like “Cheeseburger in Paradise,” “A Pirate Looks At Forty,” and the ever-popular “Margaritaville.”

Buffett, who passed away on Sept. 1, 2023, performed his last three concerts in Florida in February 2023.

His final concert in Florida was on Feb. 15, 2023.

This memorable show took place at Hard Rock Live, situated within the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.

Prior to his Hollywood concert, Buffett and his Coral Reefer Band kicked off the 2023 Second Wind Tour by playing two shows in Key West at the Coffee Butler Amphitheater.

The set list for his last Florida concert in Hollywood comprised the following songs:

4. Grapefruit—Juicy Fruit
5. Growing Older but Not Up
6. Volcano

12. Coconut Telegraph
13. Little Martha
14. Knees of My Heart
15. The Wino and I Know
16. He Went to Paris
17. One Particular Harbour
18. A Pirate Looks at Forty
19. Back Where I Come From
20. Margaritaville
21. Last Mango in Paris
22. Tin Cup Chalice

Notably, “Last Mango in Paris” and “Tin Cup Chalice” were performed as the encore.

Buffett’s last-ever concert performance with his band took place on May 6 at the Snapdragon Theater in San Diego.
