House of the Dragon Season 2 Finale Spoilers: Alyn’s Key Role

The season 2 finale of House of the Dragon is just days away, and fans are eagerly speculating which storyline will dominate the finale.

Given recent episodes, it’s safe to say that several significant battles are on the horizon. New dragonriders like Addam of Hull, Hugh, and Ulf the White are now at the forefront. These characters face considerable peril, especially since they are not entirely familiar with their dragons. Additionally, there’s another dragon rumored to be lurking in the Vale!

With Addam stepping into a new role, could Alyn follow suit? When asked about this by TV Insider, Abubakar Salim, who portrays Alyn, offered a teasing response:

“No. Maybe. I can’t tell you. You just have to watch it [laughs]. With the finale, you definitely see an Alyn who has changed. Every episode that I’ve been in, there’s always been a pick at me. There’s been a chip. It comes to a crack in Episode 8, which I’m really excited to share. It’s one of my favorite scenes actually, of the series. The brilliance of what these writers are able to do in regards to weaving these stories, these very detailed and intricate characters and stories, and still make them feel like there’s a journey — there’s a definite journey shift with Alyn near the end.”

Alyn’s character has undergone a significant arc in a relatively short timeframe, suggesting there’s potential for even more development.
