How MBA Grad Jasveen Sangha Became Matthew Perry’s Alleged ‘Ketamine Queen’

Growing up in Calabasas, California, an upscale Los Angeles suburb home to celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Will Smith, Jasveen Sangha seemed to be on a promising path. According to a friend, she was meticulous and studious during her high school years. Her parents owned a franchise business, and she was accepted into the University of California, Irvine, later pursuing an MBA in England.

However, in March, Sangha’s trajectory took a dark turn when her mother bailed her out on a $100,000 bond following her arrest for allegedly being a significant drug dealer. Now, she stands accused of selling a lethal dose of ketamine to “Friends” star Matthew Perry. Former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani noted that Sangha is in serious trouble, potentially facing life in prison.

Old friends observed that the Jasveen who returned to Los Angeles after completing her MBA at Hult Business School in London in 2010 was not the same person they had once known. One friend remarked that she looked completely different, suggesting she might have undergone cosmetic procedures.

Yet, initially, Sangha attempted to lead a straightforward business life, starting a nail salon that eventually failed. Friends noted that while many of her peers had settled into professional careers and family life by 2015, Sangha was increasingly involved in partying and excessive weekend behavior. Left behind by her circle, she ventured into party promotion, developing many connections and frequently hanging out with a group of girls who called themselves something related to Hello Kitty.

Among her friends was Perla Hudson, ex-wife of Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash. Instagram photos show Sangha and Hudson in glamorous settings, such as standing next to a private jet, at exotic locations, and at a Sotheby’s event in Beverly Hills with Hudson’s model son, London Hudson. Hudson even described Sangha as her “best wingman of all time.” Other photos show Sangha with celebrities like Charlie Sheen and DJ Khaled.

Friends noted that Sangha’s descent into the party world coincided with a significant relationship that ended around 2014, leading to feelings of loneliness. She enjoyed having people around her and frequently hosted small gatherings at her clean apartment, where a Peloton bike was a notable feature.

Drugs seemed to be a regular part of her life. According to a friend, drugs were never out of the ordinary at Sangha’s gatherings. She had easy access to substances like liquid ketamine, which appeared to become a viable option for her. Her lawyer had no comment on the situation.

Reports indicate that Sangha met Matthew Perry and Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife Brooke Mueller in a Los Angeles-area rehab, where she likely fostered connections in the drug world. Bob Forrest, an LA addiction specialist who has appeared on “Celebrity Rehab” with Drew Pinsky, mentioned that it’s not uncommon for people to make future drug connections in rehab. However, Sangha’s friend noted that she didn’t openly brag about her drug supply, implying she acted more as a middle person, facilitating transactions through platforms like Venmo.

Photos released by prosecutors show her alleged drug stash, including liquid ketamine and various powders. The friend described her lifestyle not as one of boasting but simply providing drugs to those who knew her.
