How to Vote for ‘Big Brother’ A.I. Instigator Twist on GoldDerby

The latest twist on “Big Brother 26” was unveiled at the end of Thursday’s live episode, and it’s designed for players who enjoy causing a stir, such as Angela Murray and Tucker Des Lauriers. Named the A.I. Instigator, this twist empowers viewers to choose who will create digital drama all week long. The chosen houseguest will use AI-generated deepfakes to conceal their true identities while antagonizing others. Here are all the details on how to vote for the “Big Brother” A.I. Instigator twist.

Until Thursday, August 22 at 9:00 a.m. PT, you can visit the official CBS website and cast up to 10 votes per day for your preferred A.I. Instigator. You receive the first five votes when you log in, and an additional five votes after watching a free ad. Voting is open to U.S. residents aged 18 or older.

According to the fine print: “Viewers of the ‘Big Brother 26’ television program will vote via web for the eligible Houseguest they’d like to receive the A.I. Instigator power. When this power is used, for one week, the user will create virtual avatars of other current houseguests, instructing what they’ll say and to whom. Viewers will vote through the platform below. The Houseguest with the most votes at the time of the vote’s reveal will earn the power.”

“Big Brother” host Julie Chen Moonves made the announcement on August 15, also revealing that viewers will have the chance to reward the A.I. Instigator with a cash prize at the end of their week-long period of influence. Further details on the monetary reward will be provided later.

Currently, all 12 remaining houseguests are eligible to become the A.I. Instigator, irrespective of who wins Head of Household or who is nominated. The eligible contestants are: Angela, Tucker, Brooklyn Rivera, Cam Sullivan-Brown, Chelsie Baham, Joseph Rodriguez, Kimo Apaka, Leah Peters, Makensy Manbeck, Quinn Martin, Rubina Bernabe, and T’kor Clottey.

The four houseguests who have already exited the “BB26” house this summer—Matt Hardeman, Lisa Weintraub, Kenney Kelley, and Cedric Hodges—are ineligible. They will be watching the A.I. Instigator drama unfold from home along with the rest of the viewers.
