Huey Lewis Mockumentary, Wendy Raquel Robinson in Poppa’s House & More

Huey Lewis is set to portray a fictionalized version of himself in a new mockumentary-style series that’s currently being developed by Fox, according to Deadline.

Titled Whatever Happened to Huey Lewis, the series follows the rock ’n’ roll legend as he navigates his new life after losing his hearing. The show’s synopsis reveals that, with the help of his codependent family and eccentric celebrity friends, Huey will tackle this humorous next phase with his signature Heart and Soul. Lewis was diagnosed with Ménière’s disease in 2018, which led to his hearing loss.

Kirker Butler, known for his work on Only Murders In the Building and Family Guy, will serve as the writer and executive producer of this half-hour comedy. Lewis will also be executive-producing the series alongside Aaron Kaplan, Jimmy Kimmel, and Scott Lonker.
