I Know It Smells Bad in Here…

Anti-woke musician Kid Rock performed at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on the fourth and final night in a spectacle that received a mixed reaction, to say the least.

“What up, America?!” he said to the largely middle-aged and elderly crowd upon being introduced on Thursday night. “If you’re ready for President Trump to take the stage, I need everybody to stand up! I need everybody to put a fist up in the air! Everybody, get a fist up in the air!”

He then held up a fist as an homage to former President Donald Trump, who raised a fist after being shot in the ear in an assassination attempt during a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

For the next four minutes, the 54-year-old shout-sang to the crowd at Fiserv Forum. A handful of attendees gyrated along with the musician. Others, however, remained still while displaying reactions of bafflement or revulsion.

The song actually contained the line, “I know it stinks in here ’cause Trump’s the shhhh.” Rock did not say “shit.”

“I’m a cowboy, badass and black,” he continued. “You say, Trump! Trump!”

Some in the audience chanted in return.

“Go side to side from front to back before Trump! Trump!” Kid Rock added. “I put Detroit city back on the map.”

After Rock’s performance, UFC President Dana White spoke and introduced Trump.

Elsewhere on night four, retired professional wrestler Hulk Hogan addressed the crowd. He received raucous applause by ripping off his shirt to reveal another shirt with a pro-MAGA message.
