The long-awaited debut album from Ice Spice and the movie “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire” with new and old franchise stars are among the new television, films, music, and games headed your way.

In the streaming world, there’s plenty worth your time, as noted by The Associated Press’ entertainment journalists. Wayne Brady lets cameras into his life for a new reality series, and Kate Upton hosts the new competition series “Dress My Tour,” where fashion and music intersect.

It’s been 40 years since the original “Ghostbusters,” and some might argue that it’s time to move on. While I’m not afraid of ghosts, I do feel apprehensive about unnecessarily prolonged film franchises. “Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire,” which starts streaming Monday on Netflix, has some things going for it. Namely, Kumail Nanjiani, who steals the movie as the reluctant “Fire Master.” The Spengler family (Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, and Mckenna Grace) returns to New York in a film with a kid-friendly vibe. Original Ghostbusters Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, and Dan Aykroyd are also still on hand. According to my review, the movie has “a modest charm as an ’80s-tinged family adventure.”

“Bob Marley: One Love,” streaming Tuesday on Prime Video, is the latest in a string of music biopics. The film stars Kingsley Ben-Adir as the reggae legend and captures one of the most potent musical forces of the 20th century. While sincere and textured, my review noted that “the power and complexity of Marley is out of reach for ‘One Love,’ which takes a typical biopic framework.”

On Thursday, Guy Ritchie tells a true historical tale in “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” on Prime Video, albeit with plenty of action-movie exaggeration. During World War II, an ex-criminal (Henry Cavill) leads a team to sabotage a fleet of German U-boats in West African islands. The movie has real-life intrigue, including James Bond author Ian Fleming. I praised Ritchie’s jauntily entertaining film but noted that the real-life stealth mission “would have been thrilling enough if it had been told with a little historical accuracy.”

Ice Spice’s debut album is finally here, and it arrives Friday. On “Y2K!”, Ice Spice amplifies her unique, lackadaisical flow with boisterous and often hilarious bars. Heavy hitters like Travis Scott, Gunna, and Central Cee feature on the album, and previously released singles such as “Phat Butt” and “Think U The S— (Fart)” showcase her style.

The Australian electronic duo Empire of the Sun returns on Friday with “Ask That God,” their fourth studio album and first since 2016’s “Two Vines.” Fans of their 2008 psychedelic dance-pop hit “Walking on a Dream” will find new, similarly colorful music to enjoy. Start with the shimmery “Cherry Blossom.”

Each year, KCON celebrates K-pop, K-drama, K-food, and K-beauty across the globe. The 2024 Los Angeles KCON takes place at the LA Convention Center and Crypto.com Arena from July 26 to 28, featuring acts like NCT 127, P1Harmony, BOYNEXTDOOR, and Taemin. Performances will be streamed live on KCON’s official YouTube channel, and the concert will air live on the CW Networks on Sunday, July 28, at 8 p.m. ET/PT for the first time.

What if the “Love Island” cast caught the plague while sequestered in their villa? That’s one way to describe “The Decameron” on Netflix, a black comedy set in Florence, Italy. Loosely based on 14th-century stories, a group of misfits hides out and parties during the 1348 pandemic in a countryside villa. The eight-part series debuts Thursday and stars comedy pros like Tony Hale, Zosia Mamet, and Saoirse-Monica Jackson in a romp full of sex, booze, love, and mortality.

Fashion and music intersect in the new competition series “Dress My Tour” on Hulu, hosted by Kate Upton. Eleven contestants design looks for a different recording artist each episode, who then judges their creations. Participating musicians include JoJo Siwa, Toni Braxton, and Ty Dolla $ign, and the winner receives $100,000. “Dress My Tour” premieres Tuesday.

Wayne Brady, well-known as an actor, comedian, and host of “Let’s Make a Deal,” now invites cameras into his off-screen life with a new reality series. Brady, who came out as pansexual last year, co-parents his daughter with his ex-wife and business partner, Mandie Taketa. The show, “Wayne Brady: The Family Remix,” follows their unconventional, blended family. It premieres on Freeform on Wednesday and streams the next day on Hulu.

Matt Groening’s sci-fi animated comedy “Futurama” returns for its 12th season on Hulu on Monday. The show, revived by the streamer last year, has 10 new episodes ready to roll out. The series stars Billy West as Philip J. Fry, a pizza delivery boy who gets cryogenically frozen on the eve of Y2K and wakes up one thousand years later. He befriends a robot named Bender and the show follows their adventures at the delivery company Planet Express.

Fans of the original Legend of Zelda are sure to find Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure familiar, featuring a green-clad protagonist fighting monsters and finding treasure. The twist is that every time the hero moves, part of the landscape moves in the same direction. It’s the debut title from indie studio Furniture & Mattress, featuring graphics by the artist who illustrated the cult classic Braid. The game is available from Thursday on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
