Illinois Woman’s Thrifted Hot Dog Soap Dispenser Goes Viral

Hi, it’s me. I recently went viral for thrifting a soap dispenser disguised as a dog in a hot dog costume. I think this might be the highlight of my internet career.

A few months back, I posted a TikTok that nearly hit 5 million views. This happened after I repeatedly tried to say “Chicago Style Hot Dog” but hilariously ended up saying “Shakyle Hophawg”.

I suppose I’m on a hot “dog” streak because I went viral again with a video that references my original one.

My intention was to create a light-hearted, funny video to let my followers know that I’ll never hear the end of “Shakyle Hophawg” from my friends and family. This was especially relevant since I now own a soap dispenser disguised as a dog in a hot dog costume.

However, things didn’t go as planned after I posted the video.

After people watched the video, they clicked on the “suggested” search to find out what a “Shakyle Hophawg” was. The search results were alarming, showing videos of dogs being cooked in various countries, which horrified many viewers on the app.
