Ingrid Andress Cancels Shows After Drunk Incident, Commits to Rehab

INGRID ANDRESS

CANCELS GIGS AFTER DRUNK ANTHEM FAIL

Ingrid Andress has canceled some of her upcoming shows following her National Anthem debacle. This decision seems to be linked with her announcement about seeking rehab.

The country singer was scheduled to perform at Nashville’s Row One on Wednesday night and Denver’s Globe Hall the following week. However, tickets for these events are no longer available, and the dates have been removed from her website.

Ingrid has significantly reduced her upcoming performance schedule. The next confirmed gig is in Minneapolis on Aug. 3, followed by another in Maryland on Oct. 4.

Ingrid seems to be following through on her promise to seek help. She stated, “I’m not gonna bulls*** y’all, I was drunk last night. I’m checking myself into a facility today to get the help I need. That was not me last night.”

As previously reported, Andress delivered one of the most off-key and erratic versions of the “Star-Spangled Banner” in recent years, comparable to Fergie’s infamous rendition.

The performance was so poor that Derby participants appeared to struggle to contain their laughter. Now, Ingrid is officially stepping back to address what has turned out to be a more serious issue than initially anticipated.
