Is Ben Affleck Dating a Kennedy After Splitting with Jennifer Lopez?

After days of persistent rumors, Ben Affleck’s team has finally broken their silence.

More than a week ago, Jennifer Lopez filed for a divorce from Affleck without legal counsel, sparking a flurry of speculation. As a result, Affleck, 52, was rumored to be involved with Kathleen “Kick” Kennedy, the 36-year-old daughter of Robert J. Kennedy. Multiple unnamed sources claimed Affleck and Kennedy had been “spending time together,” according to People.

A spokesperson for Affleck has now officially addressed these rumors. On Aug. 27, Jen Allen, Affleck’s representative, told People, “There is no truth to any of it,” referring to the allegations of Affleck dating Kennedy.

“I don’t know if they even know each other,” Allen added.

Lopez filed for divorce on Aug. 20, citing April 26 as the date of their separation. Affleck and Lopez had wed in 2022 after rekindling their romance in 2021. The estranged couple originally dated for several years in the early 2000s, becoming engaged in 2003 before calling off their engagement shortly before their first planned wedding.

Lopez mentioned in a past interview that the pressure from the public became overwhelming, ultimately leading to their separation.

Neither Lopez nor Affleck has publicly commented on the end of their marriage. Affleck has also not yet responded to Lopez’s divorce filing in court.

Despite the swirling rumors about Affleck’s love life, KTLA reports that gamblers are now placing bets on who they believe will be Lopez’s next partner. Currently, rapper Eminem is considered to have the best odds of dating the performer next.
