Is Taylor Swift Already Creating New Music?

Fans of Taylor Swift might have a lot to look forward to, as new reports suggest a fresh album could be on the horizon. Sources speaking to the Daily Mail have hinted that Swift has no plans to slow down and is already gearing up for a 2025 release of new music.

But that’s not all. Insiders also mentioned that a tour might follow shortly thereafter, potentially around 2026.

“Taylor is working on a new record which is due out in 2025 followed by a new tour in 2026,” one source disclosed. “She is heavily inspired by all the new experiences she is having on the Eras tour and has been quietly writing songs backstage.”

Inspiration for her new project may also be coming from contemporary artists, with Charli XCX named as a significant influence. “Contrary to what some say, she loves artists like Charli XCX. Those who have heard some of her ideas say she is paying attention to what is hot right now and will use that as inspiration,” the source added.

Details about the upcoming album remain scarce for now, but the buzz is enough to keep fans excited.

Swift’s latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, released on April 19, shattered several records. It became the album with the biggest single-day streams in history, the fastest to hit 1 billion streams, and boasted the biggest streaming week of all time. It also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, according to Billboard.

Currently, Swift is delighting fans on her Eras Tour, which is set to continue until the end of the year.
