Is Taylor Swift Hosting Her Annual Fourth of July Party?

Taylor Swift has had quite a busy year, but she’s breaking tradition by not hosting her annual Fourth of July party this time.

Every year, the pop sensation throws a bash at her Rhode Island mansion to celebrate Independence Day. However, this year will be different, as Swift won’t even be in the country during the holiday.

The “Cruel Summer” singer is scheduled to perform in Amsterdam as part of her Eras Tour on July 4, 5, and 6.

Last year, Swift’s Fourth of July party saw numerous famous faces, including Selena Gomez and the Haim sisters. Swift delighted fans by sharing photos from the celebration after the festivities had wrapped up.

“Happy belated Independence Day from your local neighborhood independent girlies. See you tonight Kansas Cityyy,” she shared.

Swift’s tradition of hosting Fourth of July gatherings began in 2013, shortly after she purchased her mansion for $17.75 million. The parties swiftly became legendary among her fan base and celebrity friends.

Back in 2017, when she was dating actor Tom Hiddleston, he attended one of the parties. Hiddleston later commented on the event to GQ, explaining a humorous incident involving a t-shirt and a back injury. “The truth is, it was the Fourth of July and a public holiday, and we were playing a game and I slipped and hurt my back,” he said. “And I wanted to protect the graze from the sun and said, ‘Does anyone have a t-shirt?’ And one of her friends said, ‘I’ve got this.’ And we all laughed about it.”

This year’s Eras Tour will continue throughout the remainder of 2023 and is set to conclude in December.
