Excitement is building among fans for the upcoming release of Dragon Ball Daima US following the recent trailer debut. Speculation about the series’ release date has been rampant. The eagerly awaited Dragon Ball Daima, crafted by Akira Toriyama, has finally announced its release date along with showcasing the creator’s top-notch involvement in the franchise.

Dragon Ball Daima US streaming release date is yet to be officially announced. However, Dragon Ball Daima Japan is slated for release on October 11, 2024.

The upcoming Dragon Ball Daima US, introduced within the Dragon Ball universe, commemorates the 40th anniversary of the franchise. This release is also a tribute to the creator Akira Toriyama following his recent death. The anime series will kick off with a special inaugural episode that will last 10 minutes, and the show has been confirmed to have around 20 episodes.

At the time of this writing, Dragon Ball Daima US has yet to reveal its international plans or specific release platforms. The official announcement occurred in Tokyo, where the director Yuichi Nakajima stated in Mantan Web:

“All episodes of Dragon Ball Daima are done. Since it’s a new work, we want it to be watched by a nationwide network. Until now, it was also broadcast on Sunday mornings, but Sunday mornings are not a nationwide network. We are also aiming for a time slot that Dragon Ball fans and the target audience can easily watch.”

Based on the trailer, the plot seems to revolve around a conspiracy that shrinks Goku and his buddies down to size. To set things right, they’ll embark on a journey to a brand-new world. It promises to be an epic adventure filled with thrilling action in a strange and mysterious land. Moreover, with Goku now tiny, he will be using his Power Pole to battle, a feature we haven’t seen in ages.

Dragon Ball Daima has been confirmed for release in Japan on Fuji TV every Friday at 11:40 PM JST. Fans can speculate that US release platforms might include Hulu or Crunchyroll in the future.
