Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively’s cast and crew acknowledge there are tensions between the “It Ends With Us” co-stars. However, sources reveal that Justin is not perceived as the clear-cut villain in the situation; in fact, many who worked on the film support him.

Production insiders have shared with TMZ that Justin, who both directed and co-starred in the romantic drama, is generally well-liked by much of the crew. They describe him as a pleasant person to work with, who genuinely cared about the production.

Despite reports suggesting that the cast and crew are rallying around Blake in her feud with Justin over creative differences, insiders say this is an exaggeration.

Our sources reveal that the reality is more of a “civil war” on set. While some people side with Blake, others feel that Justin was wronged. Even though Justin has been handling the press tour for ‘It Ends With Us’ solo, many crew members understand his reasons for doing so.

Blake, who produced the film, reportedly hired her own editor and enlisted her husband, Ryan Reynolds, to do last-minute rewrites on the script, even though the project was originally Justin’s.

The creative struggle was evident on set at times. One animated conversation between Blake and Justin was even captured by bystanders during filming.

Sources suggest Blake was eager to assert herself as a creator and likely tried to take over the film’s creative direction from Justin.

Justin is reportedly over the drama and looking to move on. Last week, he even proposed that Blake should direct the film’s sequel.

As for all the buzz about on-set conflicts, one source claims that cast members are intentionally amplifying the drama as part of marketing strategies.

The source compared it to a similar situation two years ago involving director Olivia Wilde and her “Don’t Worry Darling” stars Florence Pugh and Harry Styles. That movie went on to gross nearly $90 million at the box office.

Efforts to reach out to Justin and Blake’s representatives for comment have been unsuccessful so far.
