Jackson Pace Promoted to Series Regular for ‘Lone Star’ Season 5

Wyatt’s role as 9-1-1: Lone Star‘s new lead dispatcher comes with significant news behind the scenes — Jackson Pace has been promoted to series regular ahead of the Fox procedural’s upcoming fifth season, TVLine has confirmed.

Wyatt entered the storyline in Season 3, revealing himself as the estranged son of Judd (Jim Parrack), who was unaware that a one-night stand with a rodeo fan (Robyn Lively) had resulted in a child. With encouragement from Grace (Sierra McClain), Judd spent the following years building a meaningful relationship with Wyatt. Their bond strengthened when Wyatt decided to drop out of college to pursue firefighting like his father.

Unfortunately, Wyatt’s plans to join the 126 were derailed by a tragic biking accident. Instead, as a new promo for Season 5 reveals, he will take on the role of a 9-1-1 dispatcher. This shift fits well for 9-1-1: Lone Star, which lost its main dispatcher when McClain quietly exited after Season 4.

“As the new season begins, Wyatt must navigate a new path post-accident, leading him to be connected to the 126,” reads the official logline. TVLine confirms that Pace will appear in every episode of the show’s fifth — and possibly final — season.
