Jada Pinkett-Smith has relished a dreamy summer with her family and over the weekend, she treated fans to a glimpse of her beach getaway through Instagram.
The 52-year-old actress appeared radiant in a makeup-free selfie, posing with the stunning ocean as her backdrop.
Exuding elegance with a shaved head and a gentle smile, Jada looked effortlessly beautiful.
She hinted at some exciting news in the caption: “Summer is coming to an end and my heart has been blooming in so many ways. Can’t wait to share. Till then…. I’m just embracing the last of the summer vibez.”
Fans praised her as “gorgeous,” and inquired about the secrets behind her youthful appearance.
Jada credits her flawless complexion to a non-negotiable skincare regimen.
Apart from using face masks and abundant sunscreen, she relies on facial steams three to four times a week.
She believes this practice “keeps her skin moist,” opens pores, and removes impurities.
“You don’t need a steam room,” she clarified in a social media video. “Boil water, pour it into a bowl, put your face over the bowl, and throw a towel over your head. Stay under the towel for 1-2 minutes.”
Additionally, Jada consumes a lot of water. “I drink tons of water,” she shared. “Usually, it’s the only thing I’m drinking.” At times, she drinks up to nine bottles a day.
Jada stays in peak shape with regular exercise and spoke about maintaining a healthy lifestyle during an episode of Red Table Talk.
“Taking care of your body in the way you want is an act of self-love,” she expressed.
Jada incorporates 20 minutes of cardio into her daily routine. Speaking to BET, she revealed, “Everybody thinks you gotta be in the gym for an hour and a half. I’m never in the gym longer than 45 minutes. Just be consistent—that’s it! It doesn’t have to be intense, and you will see a difference. Just take a brisk walk outside!”
She’s also an enthusiastic yoga practitioner and shared with Women’s Health, “I usually do my yoga at home in the evenings for about an hour.”
Whenever possible, Jada is joined by her family during the yoga sessions. “It’s part of our connection time,” she added.
“In the past, I rigorously pushed my body. I was in the gym every day, lifting heavy weights to maintain a toned physique. But now I look at my body, it’s softer, not as firm as it once was. I’m learning to embrace it that way, and not feel pressured to constantly push myself to achieve a muscular physique.”
