Jaeden Martell & Luna Blaise to Star in Kevin Lombardo’s Indie ‘Dirty Fingernails’

EXCLUSIVE: Jaeden Martell, known for “Y2K,” and Luna Blaise of “Jurassic World Rebirth” fame, have been cast as the young leads in “Dirty Finger Nails.” The film is a gritty story set on New York City’s Lower East Side and marks the feature debut of 28-year-old writer-director Kevin Lombardo.

Shooting for this indie film begins in NYC this October. The narrative weaves together the lives of three young men, a homeless person, two police officers, a cleaning lady, and two best friends, all connected by a mysterious chair. The storyline explores themes of morality, temptation, and consequence, pushing the audience to question their own ethical and moral beliefs in a world filled with uncertainty.

Additional cast members include Keith William Richards, known for “Uncut Gems,” Luca Fersko, Dwyer Hall, and Jabari Yusuf. The production team features Shoichi Murphey and Toby Bird from Harapeko Productions, collaborating closely with executive producers Tina Baione and Matt Baione from Keep Good Company LLC. Associate producers Antoine Laurient and Kevin Wang are also contributing to the project.

Jaeden Martell, who has gained recognition for his roles in the “It” films, “Knives Out,” and Apple TV+’s crime drama “Defending Jacob,” is set to appear in “Y2K.” This upcoming A24 horror comedy, directed by “SNL” alum Kyle Mooney, premiered at SXSW and will hit theaters on December 6.

Luna Blaise recently completed filming “Jurassic World Rebirth,” the fourth installment in the popular “Jurassic World” franchise by Universal and Amblin. Blaise is also known for her prominent roles in the supernatural drama “Manifest,” which aired for four seasons on NBC and Netflix, and the ABC series “Fresh Off the Boat.”

Martell is represented by CAA, Dayton-Milrad-Cho, and Jackoway Austen Tyerman. Blaise is managed by CAA, Scope Entertainment, and Schreck Rose Dapello, while Richards is represented by Framework Entertainment and Pitta & Baione.
