Jake Paul and Logan Paul are not the first siblings to become major attractions in combat sports. Over the years, families like the Klitschkos, Russells, Charlos, Moloneys, and the Diaz brothers have all made waves in boxing and mixed martial arts. However, Jake and Logan Paul are unique in the sense that there may come a day when they fight each other professionally.

In a recent interview with Ariel Helwani on the MMA Hour, Most Valuable Promotions Co-Founder Nakisa Bidarian revealed some intriguing information. He mentioned that a fight between Jake and Logan Paul was pitched to Netflix before Mike Tyson accepted an offer to fight Jake.

“We said to Netflix, we could get the two of them to agree to do it on July 20th on Netflix,” Bidarian told Helwani.

However, Netflix had reservations. “I think Netflix saw it as a phenomenal, massive event, with not enough run-up to do it the right way,” explained Bidarian.

As of now, Jake Paul is set to fight Mike Perry on July 20 and then Mike Tyson on November 15. Despite these commitments, a fight between the Paul brothers is still on the table for the future.

“This is an older brother, younger brother dynamic always, right? And I do believe you’ll see that fight at some point,” Bidarian continued.

“It’s 100% real… That feels like a massive, global event no matter what, because it’s two brothers putting it all on the line.”
