Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson Fight: Updated Date and Details

The Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry fight is set for Saturday, but the former YouTuber has another major bout coming up. The exhibition match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson has been rescheduled for Friday, Nov. 15, and will still take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Netflix holds exclusive streaming rights for Paul vs. Tyson, promising a significant global audience. Initially planned for July, the fight had to be rescheduled after Tyson faced a medical emergency in May.

Tyson’s health issue centered around a flare-up of a stomach ulcer, which forced him to pause his training. Despite the setback, neither Paul nor Tyson wanted to cancel the event. After a four-month delay, both are gearing up for the match at the home of the Dallas Cowboys.

In the meantime, Paul didn’t want to miss out on a summer fight. His team quickly arranged for a match against MMA regular Mike Perry.

The Paul vs. Perry fight will take place in Tampa, Florida, on July 20 at Amalie Arena. DAZN will stream the match, with the main event scheduled for 12 p.m. ET.

For Paul and Tyson’s fight in November, event organizer Most Valuable Promotions has successfully rescheduled the match during a break in the Cowboys’ NFL schedule. Dallas will be prepping for a “Monday Night Football” game against the Houston Texans on Nov. 18, giving ample time to host both events.

“Our team has worked diligently with all parties involved to reschedule this monumental fight to a date that ensures both Jake Paul and Mike Tyson are fully prepared, with equal training time,” stated Nakisa Bidarian, co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions.

The official rules for the fight outline several modifications. The bout will consist of a maximum of eight two-minute rounds, instead of the traditional three-minute rounds. Additionally, the usual 12-ounce gloves will be swapped for 14-ounce gloves.

Fans can stream the event exclusively on Netflix, which holds the sole rights to broadcast the bout. A Netflix subscription is required, with plans starting at $6.99 per month.

On July 17, DraftKings odds favored Jake Paul to win against Tyson. The betting line was set at Paul (-240) and Tyson (+180).

While the full card for the Tyson vs. Paul event isn’t finalized yet, the co-main event remains the same: Katie Taylor will face Amanda Serrano in a super lightweight title fight.

Ticket prices for the event vary significantly. Vivid Seats offers first-row ringside tickets for $51,512 each. Floor tickets can be purchased for as low as $680, and upper-level concourse seats are available starting at $77.

In terms of physical stats, Jake Paul stands at 6-foot-1 and weighs approximately 230 pounds, as part of a strategy to move up from his normal cruiserweight class to take on the former heavyweight champion. Mike Tyson is listed at 5-foot-10 and weighed 220 pounds in his last fight, a 2020 exhibition against Roy Jones Jr.

Paul, the YouTube star turned fighter, is 27 years old. Tyson, one of the most famous boxers in history, celebrated his 58th birthday on June 30.
