James Middleton Shares Adorable Photo of Son Inigo at Their Berkshire Home

James Middleton’s baby son Inigo has quite a few siblings – of the furry kind, thanks to the family’s pack of dogs.

To mark International Dog Day, James, the 37-year-old brother of the Princess of Wales, shared an adorable photo of little Inigo surrounded by the family’s six dogs: Zulu, Inka, Luna, Mabel, Nala, and Isla. There was also a surprise new addition in the mix.

The proud ‘Dog Dad’ wrote, “Happy International Dog Day. To celebrate we got Inigo a dog of his own…”

However, the dog James referred to wasn’t real, but a fluffy toy dog placed in front of his 10-month-old son. Inigo, dressed in white dungarees over a long-sleeved navy top, watched his new toy with a shy smile. The photo was taken outside their Berkshire home, where James lives with his wife of three years, Alizée Thevenet.

It’s a rare glimpse of Inigo, as the couple usually refrain from sharing photos of their child.

James, who is eagerly awaiting the release of his debut book, Meet Ella: The Dog Who Saved My Life, reminded his fans about the upcoming release. “There is just under a month to go until the release of Meet Ella – don’t forget to pre-order your copy of the first edition. I cannot wait to share the story with you,” James posted.

The book, scheduled for release on September 26, serves as a tribute to James’ late dog Ella. Ella was a therapy dog who played a significant role in James’ life, especially during his battle with depression. She sadly passed away last year.

Sharing the cover of his book on Instagram, James wrote, “For fifteen years, Ella carried me over the obstacles life threw at me… but in our last moments together, I carried her. This photo means so much to me and I’ve chosen it to be the front cover of my upcoming book.”

The photo, taken by his wife Alizée during one of their final walks with Ella, holds immense emotional value for James. “I had tears in my eyes as I knew she was getting weaker by the day. But we enjoyed every last moment we could together. It was wonderful to release the cover, and I’m truly touched by how many of you came to hear me talk about the book and coping with the loss of a dog.”

Described as a “touching, honest and life-affirming love letter to man’s best friend,” the book aims to offer hope to anyone going through tough times.

James also recently made a heartfelt plea to his followers on social media. He read a distressing story about Ramón Alberto Piriz, who was traveling from Argentina to Morocco with his dog, Sombra. Due to cabin restrictions on Air France, Sombra had to travel in the cargo hold. Tragically, during a stopover in Paris, the airline lost Sombra.

A petition was started by a friend of Ramón, seeking accountability from the airline, and it caught James’ attention. Urging his fans to support the petition, James described the incident as “my worst nightmare.”
