Jason Aldean’s Net Worth Could Likely Buy an Entire Small Town

Jason Aldean’s net worth in 2024 comes largely from singing about small towns, but his fortune is on par with big-city magnates.

The country crooner is one of the highest earners in the genre, owing to brand deals, including Teabird, an alcoholic sweet tea, his own line of bourbon, and especially to vigorous touring and successful real estate investments.

Citing his management and PR teams, as well as general managers of his restaurants, Aldean explained, “Surrounding yourself with the right team, the right people who have the same vision as you, that’s the key to any successful business.”

Find out Jason Aldean’s net worth and how he made it.

Jason Aldean was born Jason Aldine Williams on Feb. 28, 1977, in Macon, Georgia. His father taught him to play guitar at a young age, and by 14, he was performing at local VFW halls, and later at local talent contests and venues. To stand out from other Jason Williamses, he adopted a form of his middle name as a stage name and began writing and performing original songs after high school.

In 1998, Aldean moved to Nashville and signed with Warner-Chappell, but was dropped before major success. After another failed label attempt in 2000, he achieved his breakthrough with his self-titled debut album in 2005, featuring the No. 1 Hot Country Songs single “Why” alongside hits “Hicktown” and “Amarillo Sky.” The album sold 1 million copies and was certified platinum.

Following his platinum-certified sophomore album Relentless, Aldean’s career ascended steadily. However, he gained broader public attention for tragic reasons in October 2017 when a mass shooting occurred during his performance at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, resulting in 60 deaths and numerous injuries. In a tribute to the victims and survivors, Aldean performed Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down” on Saturday Night Live a few days later.

In 2024, Jason Aldean’s net worth is estimated at $80 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. This wealth isn’t just from touring but also from selling his catalog to Spirit Music for a reported $100 million. Aldean discussed the importance of owning his music, noting “As artists, we all want to own our music. I think I can kind of speak for all artists when I say, that’s a piece of art, we created it and we made it, and it sucks that someone else gets ownership of that forever.”

Aldean praised his record label for their support in helping him secure ownership of his work. “Obviously the reason you want to own that, that’s almost like a retirement plan. So honestly, I didn’t even know that I wanted to really sell it. I just put some feelers out to see if anyone was interested, and it turned out alright!”

Jason Aldean can make as much as $1 million per show, making touring his most lucrative business venture.

It’s unclear how much Aldean earns from Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Bar, but he doesn’t view other country stars with bars in Nashville, like Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, Miranda Lambert, Kid Rock, or Blake Shelton, as competition. “I don’t know that anybody’s competition,” Aldean said in May 2024. “There’s so many people in Nashville, so many people moving there every day and visiting every day that it’s almost like you have to have all those bars just to accommodate everybody.”

In addition to his bar in Nashville, Aldean owns two others: one in Gatlinburg, Tenn., and another in Pittsburgh, Penn.

Aldean owns a home in Stuart, Florida, on the Treasure Coast, having previously owned properties in Santa Rosa Beach and St. George Island. The Treasure Coast home reportedly cost $10.2 million.

He also owns a vacation home in Turks and Caicos, showcased by his wife Brittany’s tour of the property.

Aldean holds additional properties in Georgia and Tennessee. “We just like real estate and buying things and using them for a few years,” Aldean previously told Taste of Country. “While we’re in the mood, it’s like, ‘Hey, let’s go do this and do that for a little while, then we’ll sell it and go do something else for a little while.’ “
