Jennifer Lopez Poses Solo for July 4th Photos in The Hamptons Amid Affleck Rumors

Jennifer Lopez celebrated the Fourth of July in New York, spending the holiday with friends but notably without her husband, Ben Affleck.

Lopez, just days after returning to Los Angeles from a European trip, shared celebratory photos on Instagram. The snapshots, showcasing her in the Hamptons amidst beautiful flower fields and posing on a fence, captured her wearing her wedding ring. She captioned the photos with a simple, “Happy Fourth 🌹🇺🇸.”

Meanwhile, Ben Affleck, 51, was seen having dinner with two of his children in Los Angeles on July 3. Photos published by The Daily Mail also showed him sporting his wedding ring during the outing.

However, fans were left puzzled when Lopez posted a video on her JLO Beauty brand account without wearing her wedding ring. This video, showcasing products while giving a clear view of her bare ring finger, was later reposted to her personal Instagram Story.

This heightened scrutiny of her wedding ring comes amid ongoing rumors of marital strife with Affleck. The couple, who tied the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022, have faced months of reports suggesting their marriage is on rocky ground. Despite the rumors, they have made efforts to present a united front recently.

In late May, a source close to the couple told ET that both Affleck and Lopez are aware of their issues and are desperately trying to save their marriage. “Ben and Jen don’t want to get divorced,” the source said, adding that their relationship is struggling, but they are not ready to give up.

ET also reported last month that the couple is quietly trying to sell the $60.8 million estate they bought together in May 2023. Additionally, Lopez announced in late May that she would not be embarking on her previously planned 30+ city tour, This Is Me… Live, to focus on her family. In an apology to her fans via her OntheJLO newsletter, she expressed her heartbreak over the decision and promised to make it up to her supporters in the future.

Affleck and Lopez continue to be seen together, often with wedding rings. However, Affleck was spotted without his ring last month while having dinner with his 18-year-old daughter, Violet. Affleck shares Violet, along with daughter Seraphina, 15, and son Samuel, 12, with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, from whom he divorced in October 2018. Lopez shares 16-year-old twins Emme and Max with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Recently, Lopez was spotted wearing her wedding ring during a solo vacation to Europe. A source told ET that the couple is trying to be as amicable as possible. “They still want the best for everyone involved,” the source explained, “including their kids, the rest of their families, and shared friends.”

With continuous speculation over their relationship, the source mentioned that Affleck and Lopez are aware of the public’s focus on whether they are wearing their rings or not. They remain mindful of their fans’ attention to these details as they navigate through their marital challenges.
