Jennifer Lopez Stuns in Cheeky Swimsuit Photos: Summer Recap

Jennifer Lopez’s summer was filled with lots of sexy swim looks.

On Aug. 31, the “Hummingbird” singer, 55, posted an Instagram recap of her life during the past couple of months and the outfits she wore during them. Of course, in true JLo fashion, they included some sizzling bathing suits.

In the photo carousel, the Atlas star included two selfies. One of them showed a close-up of her glam and a cheeky view of the plunging white bathing suit she wore in a picture shared on her 55th birthday on July 24.

The second image shows the mom of two wearing what appeared to be a tan bikini top that she accessorized with oversize ombré shades (Jenny from the Block-style) and a gold chain necklace.

Lopez also featured a very demure, very cutesy outfit photo showing her in a baby pink spaghetti-strap dress tied with a maroon velvet bow that matched her purse, slingback heels, and bold lip.

“Oh, it was a summer,” she captioned the post, which also housed snapshots of her time with her sister Lynda and her 16-year-old child Emme, whom she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony, along with Emme’s twin Max.

Lopez’s social media update comes after the news of her split from Ben Affleck. The performer filed for divorce from the Air actor on Aug. 20, which marked the second anniversary of the pair’s elaborate Southern wedding in 2022. It was their first planned ceremony following their nuptials in Las Vegas on July 17, 2022.

The former couple spent much of the summer apart with Lopez in New York and Affleck in Los Angeles, although she stopped by Affleck’s rental home on the west coast in August ahead of his 52nd birthday.

On the day, Lopez also shared a sexy solo snapshot of herself dressed in Dior and spent the night at the new Intuit Dome where Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga performed.

A source told PEOPLE that Lopez “still feels very fortunate” with how her life is now despite feeling “some bitterness” about the split. “She tried so hard to make things work and it didn’t matter to Ben.”

“She’s surrounded by family, friends and her kids,” the insider shared. “She always manages to have a positive outlook. The divorce is difficult for her, but she always finds a way to move forward.”

An Affleck source recently told PEOPLE that he is “doing well” and “slowly moving into his new home.”

“He’s where he wants to be: close to his kids and in a neighborhood that he loves,” the source added of the Oscar winner. “He enjoys working too, and is very focused on the positives.”
