Jennifer Lopez’s Stunning Bridgerton-Themed Birthday Party is Unbelievable

Jennifer Lopez fulfilled every regency-era fantasy at her Bridgerton-themed 55th birthday party in the Hamptons over the weekend. The celebration, attended by her closest family and friends, was a lavish affair.

The singer, known for her hit “Jenny from the Block,” shared a video from the night with her 251 million Instagram followers. In the video, Jennifer dazzled in a gorgeous embroidered ball gown, paired with a twisted, crown-inspired updo.

No Bridgerton-themed party is complete without a horse-drawn carriage, an orchestra, and, of course, a throne. Jennifer’s birthday bash had all the essential elements. She humorously captioned her post with a reference to the show’s narrator, Lady Whistledown, saying, “Dearest Gentle Reader… and a splendid evening was had by all.”

Even the popular streaming platform Netflix couldn’t resist commenting, dubbing Jennifer the “diamond of the season.” However, amidst all the extravagance, her husband Ben Affleck was noticeably absent. Ben was spotted running errands in Los Angeles during the time of her birthday celebration.

Speculation about the couple’s relationship has been rife, as they haven’t been seen together publicly since June during Ben’s son Samuel’s basketball game. Jennifer and her management team are enjoying a relaxing stay in the Hamptons, while Ben remains in Los Angeles.

The couple married in a surprise Las Vegas ceremony on July 17, 2022. Yet, there wasn’t any notable celebration for their second anniversary in the Hamptons. They walked down the aisle again on August 20, 2022, so perhaps they plan to mark that date instead.

Adding to the speculation, Jennifer and Ben have listed their Beverly Hills mansion for sale. The sprawling property is reportedly valued at $68 million.

Despite these swirling rumors, Jennifer enjoyed a sweet visit from her stepdaughter and Ben’s eldest, Violet. The two spent time shopping and enjoying ice cream in the nearby town.

Jennifer has also decided to take some time off after canceling her “This is Me…Now” tour. Initially set to be her first tour in five years, the singer chose to cut it short to spend time with her family. In a statement on her website, she said, “I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary.”

In a recent Apple Music interview, Jennifer revealed that Ben has been a significant inspiration for her new album, much like he was for her 2002 album “This is Me…Then.” She shared, “That album, This Is Me … Then, really captured a moment in time where I fell in love with the love of my life. It’s all just right there on the record, and I didn’t even realize what was happening or what I was doing.”

Jennifer continued, “It was just everyday going from the set to the recording studio, doing the thing, being in love, him coming into the studio. When I listen to the lyrics now, I didn’t even realize that I was writing some of our story that would happen, which was sick. … I didn’t even realize it was kind of prophetic in a way.”

Jennifer and Ben first met in 2001 and began dating quickly. They got engaged in November 2002 but called it off in January 2004. In the same year, Jennifer married singer Marc Anthony and welcomed twins Max and Emme in 2008. Ben married actress Jennifer Garner in 2005, and they have three children together: Violet, Fin, and Samuel.

In her interview, Jennifer gushed about Ben’s influence on her new album, saying, “When he came back into my life, again the same thing happened where I felt so inspired and so overtaken with emotion that it was just pouring out of me.”

She added, “When I feel good, I write music. And I wrote music, and I got in the studio in, I think, May, and by August, when we got married, it was done.”
