Jessica Biel Relaxes at US Open in Style Amid Husband’s DWI Scandal

Jessica Biel enjoyed the US Open on Wednesday night, sporting a powder blue co-ord and a chunky gold chain. This appearance comes amid her husband Justin Timberlake’s ongoing DWI scandal.

The actress, 42, wore a waistcoat with matching trousers and was seen sipping from a gold Moet & Chandon champagne glass. She was feeling the New York heat and frequently fanned herself as she watched the tennis matches from the stands on Day 3 of the Grand Slam event.

Jessica attended the Arthur Ashe Stadium with a friend, and the pair seemed to have a great time, sharing plenty of laughs. At one point, she went down to the lower stands to greet American musician Questlove.

The celebrities were watching world number two Novak Djokovic as he faced off against his countryman Laslo Djere. Novak, 37, won the first two sets and looked poised to win the third when Laslo, 29, had to retire from the match. Novak is aiming to win a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title.

Jessica’s attendance at the event comes just days after news broke about her husband Justin Timberlake’s DWI case. The New York hotel where Justin, 43, had reportedly been drinking before his arrest is now preparing to hand over key information.

During a court hearing on Friday, Suffolk County prosecutors confirmed they had issued a subpoena to The American Hotel. This is where Justin claimed to have consumed only ‘one martini’ before he was pulled over in the early hours of June 18.

The information gathered through this court order would be invaluable to the prosecution, as Justin had refused to take a breath test during his arrest, which would have determined his blood alcohol content. Justin’s attorney, Edward Burke Jr, previously stated that the singer was not intoxicated at the time of his arrest.

Justin, who is currently on his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, was not present at the hearing. His driving privileges were suspended for a year under state regulations following his refusal to take the breath test. Judge Irace based the decision on this refusal.

Jessica and Justin have been married since 2012 and share two sons, Silas, nine, and Phineas, four. While Justin continues his world tour, Jessica is filming her upcoming American thriller series, The Better Sister. At the US Open, Jessica was seen sharing a sweet kiss with her friend, enjoying herself despite the ongoing legal issues surrounding her husband.

She appeared to be in good spirits, smiling as she watched the match, which ran for over two hours.
