Jessica Simpson’s Tall 12-Year-Old Daughter Maxwell Towers Over Her in New Photo

Jessica Simpson shared an endearing photo of her 12-year-old daughter Maxwell Drew on Sunday. The striking resemblance between the mother-daughter duo was hard to miss.

The 44-year-old singer’s pre-teen daughter towered over her high-heel-loving mom in the candid family photograph. Jessica looked glamorous in a black fitted dress adorned with pink roses, with sunglasses perched stylishly on top of her head.

Maxwell, meanwhile, kept it cool in a graphic tee, her bright blonde locks pulled back into a sleek bun.

The photograph captured the pair enjoying a lovely mother-daughter day out, spending quality time together outside their home.

Recently, the former MTV star posted another touching snap, this time featuring her youngest daughter, five-year-old Birdie Mae. In the adorable photo, the two were snuggled up on the couch. “Me and My Birdie, My Birdie and Me,” Jessica wrote.

Jessica and her husband, Eric Johnson, have three children together. Along with Maxwell and Birdie, they also have an 11-year-old son, Ace Knute, who recently celebrated his birthday.

The couple got engaged in 2010 and tied the knot in 2014 in a beautiful ceremony at San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California, celebrating with 250 guests.

In an earlier interview with Katie Couric, Jessica shared their reason for the extended engagement. “We haven’t had time. Maxwell has taken up all our time and I want a big wedding. Then along came son Ace, making the wait even longer!”

The family of five now resides in a magnificent $11.5 million mansion in Beverly Hills, purchased in 2013 from Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne.

Their lavish home features six bedrooms, a home theatre, and a spa. The outdoor space spans 2.5 acres and includes a swimming pool, creating a perfect haven for the family.

Jessica decided to put her music career on hold to focus more on family life. She admitted feeling “nervous” about returning to the spotlight after the pandemic.

“I was too nervous to go back to my career until I felt my kids were confident enough in school and in life. I wanted to be a mom first,” she told People.

Regarding her new music, Jessica shared, “The kids are very excited, and they know that I’m living my dream and that’s what I was born to do. To have them experience that with me is going to be really beautiful.”
