Kamala Harris exuded confidence on Thursday at her campaign rally in Largo, Md. She was joined by President Joe Biden, who had earlier hosted a meeting with stars of “The West Wing” at the White House in Washington, D.C.
The Democratic nominee for president was impeccably dressed in a taupe blazer with peak lapels and matching pleated trousers. Harris complemented her ensemble with a black top and a gold chainlink necklace, finishing her look with pristine pumps.
Earlier in the day, Melissa Fitzgerald and Mary McCormack visited the White House to promote their new book, “What’s Next,” offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of the show. They were joined by Martin Sheen, who famously portrayed President Josiah Bartlet on Aaron Sorkin’s acclaimed political drama.
Fitzgerald donned a short-sleeve white dress with black trim, pairing it with black round-toe pumps. McCormack opted for a taupe blazer, a tank top, and a palm tree print skirt.
Sheen, meanwhile, looked dapper in a black jacket and trousers, pairing them with a blue checkered button-up shirt and a navy tie.
“What’s Next: A Backstage Pass to The West Wing, Its Cast and Crew, and Its Enduring Legacy of Service,” is now available and features a foreword by Sorkin and an introduction by Allison Janney, who also starred in the show.
“The West Wing” aired on NBC from 1999 to 2006. The series, which garnered 26 Emmy Awards, chronicled the lives of the staffers in the fictional administration of President Bartlet. Lyn Paolo, known for her work on “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story” and “Almost Famous,” served as the series’ costume designer. She also worked on the popular ABC political drama “Scandal,” starring Kerry Washington.
