Joe Rogan’s Texas Stand-Up Special to Stream Live on Netflix

Joe Rogan’s first stand-up special in six years will be recorded in Texas. His San Antonio show is completely sold out for August 3rd, but don’t worry—fans will be able to watch it “‘live” on Netflix along with the rest of the audience. Netflix recently announced that this will be their third live stand-up special ever, following performances by Chris Rock and John Mulaney.

This marks Joe Rogan’s first stand-up special since 2018’s “Strange Times.” For those eager to see Rogan live in San Antonio, he is also performing the night before at the same venue, and tickets are still available for that show. It’s worth noting that while the event isn’t truly “live,” Joe will take the stage at 7 PM, and the Netflix stream will begin at 9 PM.

The Majestic Theatre, where the show is taking place, is a historic and cherished venue in Texas. Built in 1929, it was the first venue in the entire state to have air conditioning. Many people likely bought tickets back then just to escape the heat. The theatre remains one of the finest examples of atmospheric theaters ever built and received National Historic Landmark status in 1993. Guests attending the show will enjoy a night to remember, but if you weren’t lucky enough to secure tickets, you can still catch the performance on Netflix for a fun night in.
