Johnny Depp Poses With Girlfriend Iuliia Vlasova in Rare Photos

Johnny Depp’s new girlfriend, Russian model Iuliia Vlasova, shared photos of them together this weekend, paired with a cryptic message for fans. Reports of their relationship have been circulating since at least July 2024, but they have mostly stayed out of the public eye. This changed on Saturday when Vlasova warned her followers: “Don’t believe everything you hear on the internet.”

Vlasova’s post features two photos of herself and Depp in what appears to be a rustic outdoor setting. The space possibly belongs to Depp, given the decor that includes a Hunter S. Thompson poster. Depp is seen with his arms around Vlasova, and both appear to be smiling happily. Intriguingly, Vlasova’s caption concludes with “My dear friend,” leaving it unclear whether this is meant to refute the reports that she and Depp are dating, as their body language suggests a close bond.

Back in July, sources told PEOPLE that 61-year-old Depp has a “casual” relationship with the 28-year-old Vlasova. While the couple didn’t want to put labels on their relationship, they were seen together in public multiple times, fueling fan speculation. Depp and Vlasova seem to have known each other for quite some time, even appearing in a photo together as far back as July 2022.

Depp has an infamous love life even by celebrity standards, which has drawn more scrutiny following his televised defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard. However, his relationships have been under public scrutiny long before that. In 1989, Depp raised eyebrows with his relationship with Winona Ryder, who was 17 years old at the time, while he was 26. The 33-year age gap between him and Vlasova brings a new dimension to these discussions.

Depp sued his ex-wife Amber Heard for defamation over an op-ed she wrote about her experience with domestic violence, without naming him. The case captured massive public attention, especially due to its televised coverage, and has since been compiled into a Netflix original series, “Depp v. Heard,” which is currently streaming.
