Yo Gotti’s CMG label has a reason to celebrate. According to TMZ, Blac Youngsta, whose real name is Sammie Marquez Benson, has had his pending legal case dismissed.

In the report, it was revealed that Blac Youngsta’s charge for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon has been dismissed by a Texas judge.

Following this decision, TMZ spoke with Blac Youngsta’s lawyer, Carl A. Moore. Moore shared that Youngsta was “happy to put this case behind him.” This development is a relief for Youngsta, considering the incident dates back to his October 2020 arrest in Dallas.

Moore further expressed that he “feels the District Attorney’s Office did the right thing by dropping the charge” and said “justice has finally prevailed.”

At the time of Youngsta’s arrest, police stated they had stopped a vehicle during a routine traffic check. Blac Youngsta, who was seated in the passenger seat, was alleged to have had a handgun tucked between his legs.

Blac Youngsta has not made a public statement regarding the case’s dismissal. However, with this legal matter now behind him, his fans are eagerly wondering what he will do next. Blac Youngsta’s latest studio album, 4LIFE, recently celebrated its second anniversary, sparking speculation among fans about a potential new release.
